🔒 Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Welcome to the **Busy Kidz**! Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. This Privacy Policy details how we handle information in our application.

1. No Collection of Personal Data

We do **NOT** collect, store, transmit, or share any of your personal data on external servers. This is a personal-use offline productivity tool.

2. Local Storage Only

All data you input into the application, including:

• Parent's Name and passcode PIN
• Children's profiles (names and class years)
• Copy-pasted school emails, chat logs, and local events
• Your parsed calendar schedules and RSVP statuses

is stored **exclusively inside your local browser's storage (LocalStorage)**. It never leaves your computer.

3. Security

Because your data is saved locally on your device, the security of your schedules depends on securing your own browser and device access. The local passcode PIN (1234) is designed as a simple layer of local screen convenience, not an encrypted cloud firewall.

4. Changes to This Policy

As this is a locally run client application, any updates to our privacy statement will be updated in subsequent offline app releases.
